We all have a finite amount of time, energy, and money. With limited resources, we must invest wisely in what is top priority! Also, we must realize that what we often tend to spend our time, energy, and money on does not truly matter in the end.
What we spend our time, energy, and money on speaks volumes to those closest to us. Thus, we should take inventory constantly to make certain we are investing our limited resources in what will last and what matters most.
Never waste time. It is a precious commodity. Spend energy on things other than the pursuit of what is empty and vain. Invest hard-earned dollars on what brings lasting reward rather than fleeting pleasure. Many things perish with using.
Take time today for family. Spend effort on serving others, meditation, and prayer. Seek the things above. Not things beneath that rust corrodes, moths eat, and thieves can steal. Seek things that last. The eternal and intangible should always take priority over the material. Laugh and love hard. Spend time in the pleasurable company of sober friends who encourage you to good works and meritorious deeds.
Life is too precious to waste on things that do not ultimately matter. Or, on persons who care little about anything but themselves!

Hi there - it's been a bit - but I have been thinking of you more and more - I hope all is well on your corner of the world. Doing things that matter with committment - that means to me - living each day as if it were your last - because it could me. If you try to keep that attitude during life - you will end up with few regrets - that is what I believe.
Take care my friend and I think you would love my new posting by David Phelps - being we both wish, I am sure, that we could sound as good as he when he sings
David Phelps is one of the greatest singers I have ever heard. He is my son's favorite singer. Anyone who appreciates true music from the heart has to appreciate David's great way to shape each note and present it as a delight to the ear. And, we know he delights our Lord with he heart songs.
Good stuff! God stuff!
I feel better!!!! Thanks a bunch.

THE FUTILITY OF LIFE
Pursuing life here in this world
Can lead to frustration, confusion and emptiness.
On the other hand it can lead to
Joy, contentment, peace and hope.
The world calls out in a voice loud and clear -
“Success lies here; never fear, come and follow.
You need this career, you need this house,
You need this vacation, you need this spouse;
You need this boat, you need this pleasure,
You need this bank account for maximum pleasure!”
God calls in a gentle, quiet voice from within -
“Come my child and follow me.
You will find faith, you will peace,
You will find joy that will never cease.
You will find hope, you will find love,
Filling you to overflowing from heaven above.
You will find wisdom, you will find fulfillment,
As you trust in Me and follow Me every day.”
So, is life futile -
The choice is actually each one’s to make;
Live life your own way seeking fulfillment
Or seek out God for His wisdom
And He will show you the path to take
To lead to ultimate pleasure as well as treasure!

Thanks for sharing!
Good writing and good post and good challenge.
No one ever puts on his tombstone "I wish I had spent more time at the office"
priorities - that's what it is all about isn't it
