My Guide to Loving Relationships

 Last Day
Back to Full Blog

If this was your last day on earth, how would you spend it? What would be the most important thing to you? Where would you go? Whom would you see? How would you spend your last amount of time, energy, and money?

God desires that we live each day as our last. Responsibly, and in anticipation of Christ’s imminent return.

Many things lose their importance when I imagine today to be my last day on the earth.

I need to live and love like it.

Theo,

If I knew this was my last day here, you can be sure that I would be prrrraaaaaisin' God with all my might, I'd be talking to all my children and grandchildren, telling them how much I love them and want them to be with me in Heaven, and I would write one last pithy blog post telling my cyber friends how much I love and appreciate them.

Then I would commit my spirit into the hand of the Lord forever and ever. I can't wait.

PoH, couldn't agree more. You now when it comes right down to it...all that matters is love and relationships. There's really nothing we possess of any importance. It's all about faith, hope and love. And, the greatest of these is love.

PrayWithHope, I think that is very important. Keeping in mind our eventually demise, to me, helps us keep all things in proper perspective.

Theo'

I would be singing "don't cry for me Argentina"... lol - then, I would hit my knew praising God for my Life and the grace and mercy He has bestowed on me and then let my kids know that we I pass they are to have a party and celebrate my trip to heaven and I will wait for them there. I have always said that on my tombstone written somewhere should be "RETURNED TO SENDER" because I so believe that! God bless - and I live life to love Him.
